I'm Marek — a builder, filmmaker, and hip-hop artist from Poznań, Poland.

I started in civil engineering, taught myself to code, and spent years building software products for companies across the world. I like having ownership over what I build — the decisions, the direction, the outcome. Recently, I created Rekolla — an AI-powered language learning app — solo, from zero to deployed.

Building a product — thinking about users, solving real problems, making something that works as a business — has always excited me more than writing code alone. AI, product, and business — that's where I want to be.

Outside of tech I direct short films. The latest, Wędrowiec (The Wanderer), is a 14-minute thriller — submitted to festivals, awaiting results. I also make hip-hop music — started as a challenge to myself, and I got hooked.

I try to live by one principle — try things. Push past the overthinking and just do it. That's how I ended up coding, directing films, and recording music. Most of it started with just deciding to give it a shot.
